What's happening to music today??? OK so they've pushed trance into the mainstream UK club scene. BUT what the *@�$ have they done to it???!!! THAT stuff's not trance!! not the hardcore psychedelic trance i know and love - the stuff you'll find if you follow some of my links... OK so the stuff in the clubs isn't bad as some kind of dancy uplifting-dream-housey-thing. BUT IT MIGHT DAMAGE THE REAL TRANCE SCENE. NOT GOOD NOT GOOD AT ALL.

Do the right thing. Keep the real thing.

oh yeah, and if you're thinking acid house = 1980s = 15 years out of date, you're probably right, but it can be brought into the 90s and the 00s (and in a way it has - check out acid funk, acid jazz, psychedlic trance...) - not that i'm suggesting everyone starts TAKING acid - that would just be silly (Billy)!
well, i don't take it anyway (honest!) - because i don't need to - i'm already tuned right in to that frequency if ya know what i'm sayin'....
...although i'm trying to find out about the san pedro plant - a herb used by shamans in ancient times to enter their trances (apparently)...

anyway there's a lot of other themes i'm gonna be bringing to this site, possibly including : general weirdness, new age spirituality, neural nets, clubbing, drinking, why not ALL computer scientists are nerds, the meaning of life, dark depressing gothic things, bright uplifting happy things, and anything else i've developed an interest in since i wrote this...
